Fresh start and Introductions

The last few weeks have been hard. I’ve gone a total of 2 weeks without a Facebook (I know, it’s hard to imagine but I pulled through and came out the other side). I wish I had an interesting story about what happened but I still don’t know exactly why Facebook deleted my account. All I know is that the Facebook help centre isn’t really that helpful, in fact I’m still waiting for a reply to my email…

I thought since this was a fresh start with a new Facebook Page it would be a good time to reintroduce myself and this blog.

Back in 2015 I decided that school wasn’t for me and instead I wanted to do some traveling. I had no idea that it would change my life so dramatically, let alone that I would be living in New Zealand now! I wanted to have a blog to keep all my thoughts and life events in one place, and in a way that friends and family could keep up too. Some of the big things that happened last year included: Moving to New Zealand, Working on a farm and with horses everyday, dealing with one of the worst riding accident’s I’ve ever had, and getting robbed over Christmas.

Going forward into 2017 I have a few goals for this blog and I hope you stick around for the journey. One of those goals is to post a new blog post every month and try for every two weeks. The other big goal is to really give this blog some shape. Right now I can only tell you that it’s about my life, but hopefully over the next few months I can shape it to be a bit more specific.

I’m really excited about an upcoming blog post all about traveling to New Zealand and the visa processes. It’s still proving to be one of the most stressful parts of living in another country, so If you know anyone looking at traveling these ways in the next little while make sure they’re following my Facebook page or subscribed to my email list on the right side of this page!

Thanks for sticking around if you’ve been here for ages, and welcome if this is you’re first time here. Thanks for reading and liking my new Facebook page.
